Exterior algebras were originally introduced as a means of describing lengths, areas, volumes, etc. in finite vector fields and have since become central objects of study in algebraic geometry. Next week, we will have the pleasure to learn about these objects and their properties in an introductory lecture on exterior algebras by Clémence.
