Linear Complexes

Complexes are discrete objects that enable to represent many topological spaces. Are the representations equivalent ?, or what is actually the difference between simplicial and cubical complexes ? And is it possible to have general "shapes" for such complexes ? We introduce and discuss these questions in our talk.
